Charity Links

The children of Bishopsgate support a different charity each term. The members of the School Council select the charity for which a variety of school-based fund-raising events will be planned. Charities recently supported include Lawrence's Roundabout Well Appeal, Feed the Children and Myasthenia Gravis Research.


Bishopsgate School/Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity Shoot and Ball
Bishopsgate School, thanks to the hard work of a dedicated team of mums and an Appeals Committee led by Chairman of Governors Andrew Taee, continues to raise substantial funds in aid of the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

The main annual fund-raising event is the Charity Shoot, which is held each September at The Royal Berkshire Shooting School. This year, a remarkable total in excess of £200,000 was raised.

A Charity Ball is arranged every two years in the splendid surroundings of Great Fosters Hotel in Egham.
