Welcome to Bishopsgate School

Dear Parents,

Bishopsgate enjoys a beautiful learning environment and is a vibrant and happy community in which children enjoy their childhoods and develop a lifelong love of learning.

We strive for the highest standards of teaching and learning, developing the skills, capacities and understandings that our children are going to need to live effectively in the 21st century.

Our children enjoy a breadth of experience with opportunities for sport, music, drama, the arts and participation in an exciting programme of extra-curricular activities.

Laughter and fun are also very important ingredients of the Bishopsgate experience and we place great emphasis on the happiness and well-being of our children.

Whilst I hope that you will visit us very soon, and see for yourself something of the life of our busy school, you are invited in the meantime to view a shortened version of a film that captures some happy memories of the last school year. You will find the link on this page of the web site.

Yours sincerely,

Andrew Cowell
Headmaster
SCHOOL OPEN
We intend opening the school today.

Bishopsgate Road and the school drive are usable with care. We shall clear as much snow as we can from the school pathways to ensure that the school campus is as safe as possible.

If we need to cancel after school clubs, in order to enable an early finish, we'll send a clarion call message out later today.
