Lower School Sports Day
Our youngest sporting superstars were in action last week at Lower School Sports Day. The children had been working hard learning their races and competed with smiles on their faces. Displaying a range of skills in the obstacle, sprint, bean bag, hurdles, sack and egg and spoon races, the children were certainly put through their paces.
Our Year 7 & 8 pupils were fantastic helpers on the day ensuring the day ran well and encouraged the children brilliantly.
Early years (Nursery and Reception) competed in the morning and Years 1 & 2 in the afternoon. The afternoon session was a House event and the competition was fierce!
Overall Sports Day winners were Magellan and the House Relay was won by Shackleton.
